AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL NIGERIA: DIGITAL CAMPAIGNER OPPORTUNITY
Amnesty International Nigeria is seeking an innovative and driven individual to join our team as a Digital Campaigner. This role is a unique opportunity to create transformative digital strategies and campaigns that will drive human rights advocacy and engage audiences across Nigeria.
Please note this is a fixed-term contract opportunity for 24 months.
ROLE SUMMARY
As a Digital Campaigner, you will develop and manage Amnesty International Nigeria's digital channels, creating meaningful experiences and building community with our supporters, members, and donors. Your work will focus on designing and implementing strategies that enhance public engagement, mobilize activism, and drive human rights change through compelling digital campaigns.
AMNESTY NIGERIA PURPOSE
Amnesty International Nigeria operates as part of a global movement addressing national human rights priorities. Our mission includes empowering Nigerians to take action on human rights issues and leveraging Nigeria's regional and global influence to advocate for universal human rights.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Development: Design and implement an omnichannel digital marketing strategy to enhance supporter engagement and recruit new audiences.
- Campaign Management: Develop and execute campaigns across various digital platforms, leveraging advocacy software to drive activism and awareness.
- Audience Insights: Utilize data and analytics to shape campaign strategies and optimize digital marketing for maximum impact.
- Collaboration: Work with internal teams and regional partners to align campaigns with broader organizational goals and fundraising efforts.
- Digital Presence: Oversee the development and maintenance of Amnesty International Nigeria's website and digital platforms to ensure usability, accessibility, and impactful messaging.
- Innovation: Explore new digital promotion opportunities, including viral marketing, online communities, and partnerships, to amplify Amnesty's reach.
This is not an exhaustive list of duties. Flexibility is essential, and the post holder will carry out other related responsibilities within their skills and capabilities as required.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven track record of leading and transforming multi-channel digital marketing for at least six years.
- Expertise in data-driven decision-making and experience with advocacy software.
- Strong background in planning and executing successful digital campaigns, with a focus on engagement and mobilization.
- Experience in web and app development projects and familiarity with technology stacks.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with proficiency in English (knowledge of local languages or foreign languages is an advantage).
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage conflicting demands, and meet deadlines.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
